No DAM is an island.

The Xinet WebNative suite features the renowned image file-server engine developed for Xinet FullPress. Whether your digital asset management needs are local or global, for an extended workgroup or enterprise-wide, Xinet solutions fit your needs today and will scale as you grow.

Xinet® WebNative®
Xinet WebNative is a server-based point of access into the Xinet workflow. WebNative accesses file system assets and provides display, search, ordering and download, conversion, and other features via a standard Web browser. No additional software installation, such as browser plug-ins, is required to use WebNative. The display mechanism for WebNative uses "Styles" which are written in JavaScript. Xinet creates and distributes a set of Styles with WebNative, and the product is designed to allow users to customize their own look-and-feel by modifying supplied Styles or writing their own. WebNative also includes plug-ins for QuarkXPress and Adobe InDesign on Macintosh platforms that embed previews and linked image information inside the document in a Xinet-proprietary format. WebNative parses this information on demand and displays it in a Web browser.

Xinet® WebNative® Venture
Xinet WebNative Venture adds an enterprise-strength SQL database to WebNative to store preview and metadata information. Features include additional metadata storage opportunities; advanced metadata-dependent process automation features, such as "triggers and actions"; and improved functionality and performance for searches and display.

Xinet® WebNative® Portal
Xinet WebNative Portal is a powerful hosting application that adds enhanced levels of security, customization, solution architecture and usage control to asset management Web sites powered by Xinet WebNative and Xinet WebNative Venture. WebNative Portal runs on a server separate from the WebNative or WebNative Venture server and provides its own customizable display mechanism. One WebNative Portal machine may be used to search and aggregate results from several WebNative and WebNative Venture servers, providing a single point of entry for a large multi-national, multi-server organization.

Display customization with WebNative Portal may be performed using common Web design tools such as Adobe Dreamweaver or Adobe GoLive. Because WebNative Portal removes the display layer from the WebNative or WebNative Venture server, more customer security architecture requirements may be addressed. WebNative Portal also has a series of plug-ins included with the product that affect the display and availability of data, including Asset Timer, Asset Fulfillment, On-Line Approval, and One-Click Download.

Xinet® FullPress®
Xinet FullPress, a robust server software engine, sits at the center of the Xinet workflow providing client-server file sharing, print spooling, automated output generation of PostScript, PDF, TIFF/IT, and much more. The powerful core functionality of FullPress is the foundation of the entire Xinet solution and its engine is used by other Xinet products to generate previews and perform file conversions, supporting a wide range of input and output formats. FullPress also is tightly integrated with WebNative Venture to ensure that changes to the file system are immediately reflected in the database.
