Quick Asset Archiving
With WebNative Archive, approved users, whether local or remote, can send requests to your backend archiving software to store assets in media storage libraries from the familiar WebNative Suite interface.

Sending a request to archive an asset is as simple as adding files to the WebNative shopping basket, clicking the Archive icon, and working with the simple window below. Once archived, previews of all files remain visible and searchable through WebNative Suite.

Reliable Asset Retrieval
Restoring archived assets is as straightforward as archiving them. Whether they are stored online, nearline, or offline, users can search and preview archived files, add them to a shopping basket, and with just a few clicks, restore them to a predetermined location, the original location, or an entirely new location on the WebNative Suite server. The process is quick, straightforward, and secure. User privileges are managed at the administrative level.

Asset Previews: Previews are visible for archived assets. Colored tags in the upper right corner indicate status—gray if restored from archives, green if archived nearline, red if archived offline.

Flexibility That Works For You
Whether your organization runs in a Unix or Windows environment, WebNative Archive offers one uniform view into the underlying backend software—Backup Exec (for Windows platforms) or FlashNet (for Unix platforms).

While the backend software manages all media devices and keeps track of your archived data, many administrative tasks can be done directly from the WebNative Suite GUI, such as managing jukebox media, designating user access and privileges, configuring restore destinations, and many other tasks.

To further enhance your unique workflow, the WebNative Suite Triggers and Actions tool can be employed to automate actions, such as sending email notification when a file is restored, with a link to its new location on the server.
